My story —
I grew up in a home shaped by divorce and alcoholism—a perfect storm that wired me for people-pleasing, over-functioning, and trying to fix everything and everyone around me. For most of my 20s, I didn’t even realize there was another way to live. Those patterns weren’t just habits—they were survival skills I learned to feel safe.
The shift didn’t happen overnight. It started when I began to notice how exhausted, resentful, and disconnected I felt—even while doing “all the right things.” I realized I was constantly managing others’ emotions, abandoning myself in the process.
Little by little, I started choosing differently. Saying no. Sitting with the discomfort of not being liked. Letting people be disappointed. And slowly, I began to feel more like me—not just the version of me shaped by chaos, but the one I was always meant to be.
Now, I help women do the same.
Women who are exhausted from always being “the strong one,” the peacemaker, the overachiever. Women who constantly second-guess themselves, overthink their tone, and feel guilty for saying no.
Together, we untangle the old patterns—people-pleasing, perfectionism, self-abandonment—and replace them with self-trust, clear boundaries, and honest communication.
It’s not about becoming someone new. It’s about coming home to who you’ve always been, underneath all the coping.
My Approach to Therapy
Over the past 10+ years, I’ve worked with hundreds of women just like you—smart, thoughtful, deeply caring—and totally drained from trying to be everything to everyone.
Through a mix of practical tools, and honest (but compassionate) conversations, I help you reconnect with your own voice. Not the voice of your anxiety. Not the voice of guilt. Your real, authentic voice.
I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods and asks, “How does that make you feel?”
Instead, I like to think of us as ‘thought partners’ — where you are the expert of your life, and I am along for the ride to help bring the unconscious, deeper stuff to the surface. I will share my insights, feedback & customized resources to help you overcome the emotional or mental blocks that may be holding you back.
I combine evidence-based strategies, deep relational work and a thorough understanding of anxious, high-achieving women to find you the peace, clarity and relief you’ve been looking for.
